This simple bier was once to lay in state the priests who served this community.

It was where those who had dedicated their lives to faith were laid to rest, having offered guidance and spiritual care to the people of Mosta.

Placed here, beneath the symbols of the flame and the skulls, it reminds us that every life — no matter how it is lived — eventually reaches the same final passage.

Ahead, you will meet others who carried this tradition of care and devotion forward.
